Olivia Fields is on a mission to share the hope of overcoming life’s greatest challenges. She developed a strong sense of devotion to helping others in 2002 when she became a resident at Hope House of Savannah with her newborn daughter, successfully leaving behind an abusive relationship and a substance-filled lifestyle. Upon her successful completion of the program, Olivia humbly accepted an invitation to actively serve as their first resident board member. She held that position for two years while earning her certification as a Computer Technician at Savannah Technical College and serving as a spokesperson for several Coastal Empire United Way-funded organizations.

Since relocating to the Atlanta, Georgia area in 2011, Olivia has poured her heart into community leadership. She has volunteered as a program coordinator for Thrive Youth Leadership Organization, assisted in implementing and leading the youth hospitality ministry, and consistently shared her love for people by providing food, clothing, and essential necessities to those in need throughout Metro-Atlanta alongside her children, volunteers, and partner organizations.

In 2025, Olivia faced the most profound heartbreak of her life when she lost her 18-year-young son, Sha'don Gordon. Channeling her deep grief into purposeful action and advocating for him each day, she founded A New Dawn Bereavement Resource Network, a vital new extension of Desire to Inspire (DTI) dedicated to supporting and uplifting grieving families navigating child loss.

Ms. Fields is the proud mother of nine children, whose love fuels her vision. She is the independent business owner of Freedom From Home LLC, Naturally Lavish Scents & Body Care, and Oasis Travel Destinations, as well as the founder and CEO of Desire to Inspire Community Outreach, Inc.

Through it all, Ms. Fields continues to share her trials and triumphs, including her powerful testimonial poem, "The Choice is Yours", to remind the world that no matter how dark the valley, as long as there is breath, there is hope for total transformation.
